during the game at EverBank Field on December 11, 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida.

We have all been on the outside of current slang terms from time to time. The current kids come up with some sort of phrase and everyone tries to play catch up. “Lit” is the current term everyone uses and wrestling legend Ric Flair wants to know what the hell it means.

“The Nature Boy” has spanned multiple generations and is one of the best wrestlers to ever enter the ring. He went onto Twitter for help in figuring out this curious new word that entered his lexicon.

Luckily, Flair had multiple people help him out with the answer. One of them being the actual Twitter account itself!

Is “lit” going to be added to Flair’s vocabulary now? While it is cringeworthy to hear older people trying to use slang terms, Flair could definitely pull it off.

From now on, we need Twitter to weigh in on age-old debates. Where were they when the “is a hot dog a sandwich” debate was raging on? We could’ve used them as an arbiter of sorts. They should also determine what is or isn’t lit. It would help me out a lot, especially as someone that is still trying to figure out what is hip.

Thanks, Ric Flair, for asking the tough questions.
