Roman Reigns

WrestleMania is this weekend and in the main event of the biggest show of the year, “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns takes on “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

To promote the show that’s taking place at LA’s SoFi Stadium, Reigns, and his Bloodline family took part in a tremendous parody of a classic scene from Goodfellas. Reigns portrays Joe Pesci’s character Tommy DeVito as he does the “How am I funny?” speech (with a little WWE twist) toward Ray Liotta’s character Henry Hill, who is portrayed by Paul Heyman.

Everyone nailed their parts perfectly, with Solo Sikoa in particular deserving props for staying stone-faced throughout. You can tell everyone had fun with it, and the scene is played off in a way where even though this is a classic scene, you don’t have to have seen Goodfellas to enjoy this.

This is the latest in a line of movie/TV parodies featuring WWE Superstars to promote WrestleMania in Hollywood. Other scenes include Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in Joker, The Miz and Maryse in Top Gun, Rhea Ripley and John Cena in Stranger Things, and The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Ridge Holland, and Butch) in The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
