A top WWE star was shockingly revealed to be featured in an upcoming Marvel film on Tuesday.
Seth Rollins, a Grand Slam Champion and beloved WWE superstar, was seen on the set of the upcoming Captain America: New World Order movie. The news set Wrestling Twitter ablaze in the morning as Rollins’ fans were thrilled to see him involved in the project.

Jeremy Lambert of Fightful wrote on Tuesday that Rollins was dressed as a member of the Serpent Society. The Serpent Society is a group of snake-like supervillains so Seth will play the role of ‘bad guy’ in the movies, too, should that be the move.
Rollins and his wife, Becky Lynch, the multi-time Women’s Champion, have begun to leave their mark on the silver screen and the big screen. Lynch was featured in Young Rock as Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Famer Cyndi Lauper. The first-ever winner of the first-ever women’s main event at WrestleMania has also appeared on Billions.
Rollins has appeared on television away from WWE before, appearing on Good Morning, Football on the NFL Network this year to promote WrestleMania 39 in Hollywood. This is a massive foray into Hollywood, as the Marvel Cinematic Universe brand is one of the biggest out there. It’s probably a small role, and clearly, one that made no impact on his wrestling because nobody could tell he wasn’t around, to begin with, until the photos were unearthed.
So, it’s a cool moment for Seth Rollins, a top WWE star, to be featured in a Marvel movie. It feels fitting a wrestler would be in a film with the subtitle ‘New World Order’ as well.
