Apparently professional wrestlers and hockey players share something in common – the propensity to have their teeth knocked out.
At last night’s No Mercy pay-per-view, Cesaro and Sheamus were facing Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the tag team titles. During the match, Ambrose did a slingshot maneuver that sent Cesaro into the corner. But instead of going into the turnbuckle, the Swiss superstar flew all the way into the metal ringpost.
But instead of taking the hit gingerly, he legitimately landed teeth first. The shot knocked his front teeth out, which made the rest of the match look like Cesaro was starring in a Hanson Brothers movie.
Still in awe over @WWECesaro enduring this and still delivering a phenomenal performance. Truly a pro's pro. pic.twitter.com/HbIOAhaJKy

Never question the toughness of professional wrestlers. I want to pass out just looking at that, yikes. Not only did Cesaro finish the match, but he was able to joke about it afterwards. Cesaro shared a picture of his new dental work after the match, even dropping in an Isaac Yankem DDS joke for good measure.
Anybody know a good dentist? Isaac Yankem DDS? This is not over. Still #TheBar @wwesheamus #WWENoMercy pic.twitter.com/wchmwfUkDG

That’s a five star tweet, even outside the Tokyo Dome.
In case you were wondering, Cesaro and Sheamus ended up losing the match to Ambrose and Rollins. Hopefully WWE takes advantage of the social media buzz from this and does a teeth-on-a-pole rematch or something.
