One of my favorite books of all time is “Fever Pitch”. This has nothing to do with the awful film of the same name starring Jimmy Fallon which centered on his character’s love for the Boston Red Sox aside from the name. The book is about author Nick Hornsby’s obsession with Arsenal and how it relates to his life. But even Hornsby never did this:

Yes, that is a man wearing a full Arsenal kit to his wedding while his now wife is in a dress. “It’s like I won the FA Cup and found the best woman in the world ever,” the groom wrote on Facebook, apparently in an effort to make a terrible situation look even remotely better.
We here at the Comeback wish nothing but happiness and success for the Bride and Groom, and hope the Bride isn’t the equivalent of a “fourth place trophy.”
