Charlotte Hornets forward Marvin Williams threw down a nasty dunk during the third quarter of the team’s 100-91 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night at Time Warner Cable Arena.

The Hornets are having fun these days, and for good reason. They’re red-hot, with wins in 14 of their last 17 games, and can clinch a playoff spot on Saturday night if the Detroit Pistons beat the Chicago Bulls. Friday night’s win also gave the Hornets 44 wins on the season, something they hadn’t done since 2009-10 (44-38).
