wilfork

Vince Wilfork made quite the splash during Hard Knocks last season when he came out into the Texans practice facilities in overalls and cowboy boots. For one, it was unexpected by everybody in the facility, and two, he actually pulled the look off.

The 6’2, 325 pound defensive tackle wore them well around his large frame, and he gave us another look on Saturday during J.J. Watt’s celebrity softball game, despite everybody else wearing the uniforms that they were given.

Hardly do you ever see somebody rocking a pair of overalls playing any sport, and for good reason. But Wilfork somehow pulls them off, and surely if you don’t agree with them, you won’t say anything to his face.

Wilfork also had his last name embroidered on the back, making the overalls that much more impressive.

Hopefully this isn’t the last time we see Wilfork rocking his signature overalls. I mean, maybe he could wear them underneath his football uniform for good luck (he might already do that, we just don’t know it).

Wilfork will be turning 35 in November, but he keeps chugging along in what has been a great NFL career. He might not be the player that he once was, but his personality has never been lacking.
