Rock, Paper, Scissors might be the perfect game. It’s simple and easy, with a hint of strategy (everyone knows macho men always start with rock) but ultimately mostly luck.
When you lose Rock, Paper, Scissors, you don’t complain, you just congratulate the other person and admit defeat. The world might be a better place if everything (ok, maybe not everything) were determined by Rock, Paper, Scissors.
The Boston Celtics’ Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder know this. That’s why they used Rock, Paper, Scissors on Sunday night to decide who got to shoot a technical foul free throw in the final minute of the Celtics’ 105-95 win over the Miami Heat.

Crowder must have felt pretty good about himself, strutting the free-throw line fresh off his victory in Rock, Paper, Scissors. He shoots 87 percent from the line on the season and was 4-5 so far Sunday, so he definitely figured he’d get another point to add to his stat line.
Naturally, he missed.
