A heartwarming moment on the college softball diamond has gone viral.
Kaitlyn Moses of the Grand View Vikings, an NAIA program located up in Des Moines, Iowa, crushed a grand slam to boost her team. However, fate intervened in a terrible way as she dropped after her ankle was hurt rounding first base.
As Goodable shared, NAIA rules say that her teammates weren’t able to help her round the bases. So the game appeared to be at a standstill. That’s when fate intervened in an absolutely heartwarming way.
The opposing team lifted Moses up and helped her round the bases and touch home plate.
“Some things are bigger than the game,” Goodable tweeted along with video of the heartwarming moment.
