College football is becoming an increasingly expensive and wealthy game in this country, from the televising of games to the myriad of Bowl Games and increasingly, the recruiting process is becoming an expensive process too. Take this commitment from four star Virginia Running Back recruit Khalan Laborn:

Yes, that is a Florida State themed Lamborghini, and though it’s not a brand new Prancing Bull, it is a Lamborghini that a high school student rolled up in to announce where he’s going to play college football. Laborn is the highest rated recruit in the state of Virginia for 2017, so naturally he arrives with some publicity, but even so, a four star recruit is announcing where he’s going to spend his college years using someone’s Lamborghini, rented or not. That’s fairly insane.

Announcing your decision on SportsCenter by picking out one of a litany of hats lined across a table suddenly seems passe now. Future highly sought after recruits should announce their decision by driving off in branded cars with the school they’ve chosen, whether they’re all Toyota Yaris’ or Lamborghini Aventadors.

The game’s gone and changed, y’all.
