These stories always warm your heart, and this one is no exception. TCU took out a full page ad in the Myrtle Beach Sun Times to congratulate Coastal Carolina on winning their first ever College World Series and the first national title for any sport in that school’s history.

The Horned Frogs had a fantastic season of their own, but were eliminated by the Chanticleers in the semifinals of the tournament.

Even though using the terms “class” and the like are cliched and often overused, this is a situation where using them wouldn’t be. This was a classy and incredibly gracious gesture by TCU and shows even in defeat, teams can still show why so many of us love sports the way that we do.

Every now and again you need a simple yet incredibly heartwarming story to brighten your day a little bit. This is one of those. Well done TCU.
