Sam Bradford made his return to Philadelphia for the first time since being traded to Minnesota before the start of the season. Heading into the game, Bradford looked like a man who’d already benefited from a change in scenery.

So far this season, Bradford was undefeated as the Viking stater and had yet to throw an interception. With a 70 percent completion rate, 990 passing yards, and 6 touchdowns, he suddenly looked like the player everyone always imagined he could be coming out of Oklahoma.

However, he quickly showed Eagles’ fans that they might not be missing out on that much after all. Playing at Lincoln Financial Field once again must have reminded Bradford that he is still, in fact, Sam Bradford.

Bradford’s exit opened the door for rookie sensation Carson Wentz, so no matter how well Bradford played, Philly fans weren’t likely to get too angsty. (Well, then again, they are Philly fans.)

Nevertheless, it’s appealing to a certain innate fan pettiness when you’re to knock around your old underachieving player now and again.
