The Philadelphia Flyers honored their late owner Ed Snider by having a moment of silence before their playoff game against the Washington Capitals on Monday night at Wells Fargo Center.

They also handed out memorial bracelets to their fans. Unfortunately, many of those bracelets hit the ice after a brawl that broke out in the third period which resulted in multiple Flyers penalties:

One of them even hit Caps defenseman Dmitry Orlov in the face. It got so bad that not only were Alex Ovechkin and Wayne Simmonds pleading with fans to stop throwing the bracelets on the ice …

But Flyers P.A. announcer Lou Nolan got all passive aggressive with Flyers fans as he announced the two minute bench minor that they were responsible for:

Way to honor Ed Snider’s memory, Philadelphia.
