The Ottawa Senators are off to the Eastern Conference Finals after a 4-2 victory over the New York Rangers in Game 6 of their second-round series on Tuesday night.

It’s the Senators’ first trip to the conference finals since 2007, and fans made sure to hit the streets of Ottawa to celebrate. But, the fans were incredibly polite in how they celebrated, because Canada (or at least because Ottawa, after the Vancouver Canucks fans put a dent in that all-Canada reputation in 2011).

Watch these Senators fans only celebrate in the street when the traffic light turns red:

That is some thoughtful, considerate celebrating right there.

It will be interesting to see if the Ottawa fans are a a bit more rebellious with their celebrating should the Senators advance to the Stanley Cup Final. (They probably won’t be.)
