Crystal Palace Football Club out of London in the Premier League has recently been making some high-profile moves to help ensure they avoid relegation and successfully continue in the Premier League for years to come. They reside in 16th place in the table for 2016/17, and are hoping to improve. The highest finish for the club was third place, back in 1990/91, and they are hoping to build a strong foundation and continue into future seasons.

Crystal Palace is backed by a plethora of successful corporate sponsors, which sets them up for a good financial situation so that they are able to acquire new transfers as needed for continued success. Unlike some clubs that are not as fortunate, these sponsors have helped with their financial security which allows them to be competitive in the Premier League. Their most prominent official main sponsor is Mansion, the Gibraltar-based company known for running online casino brands. The official stadium, JD, is acknowledged as the leading specialist multiple retailer of fashionable branded and own brand sports and casual wear in the UK and Republic of Ireland. And of course don’t forget their official beer sponsor, Carlsberg, which is the official beer of the England team, Wembley – and of course, Crystal Palace FC.

Because of this strong base of sponsorship, Crystal Palace has been able to make recent moves such as offering seven million pounds for Sunderland defender Patrick van Aanholt. Van Aanholt, 26, has impressed at the Stadium of Light this season and it is understood Sunderland will reject Palace’s offer. Allardyce is keen to bring in defenders and Carl Jenkinson, the Arsenal right-back, is thought to be another Palace target.

Unfortunately Crystal Palace may not be as lucky with goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, as there are suggestions that he may have agreed to a deal that would allow him to return to his old club Marseille after this Premier League season. Mandanda left his club last year to join Crystal Palace, so his time lived as the keeper may be short indeed. Regardless, the future for Crystal Palace still looks quite bright indeed.
