When a dunk even gets the opposing team ready to celebrate, you know it’s good.
That’s what happened on Wednesday night when the Los Angeles Lakers’ Larry Nance Jr. threw down this absolutely absurd Stretch Armstrong-esque dunk, and ruined the well-being of Nets seven-footer Brook Lopez in the process. Watch this (over and over, if you’re like me):

Those are the Nets’ announcers — with Ian Eagle on the play-by-play — amazed too. It’s just insane where he jumped from, and then over a seven-footer! Ridiculous.
Last month, I wrote about another posterizing dunk Nance Jr. threw down, and said, “That’s your early leader in the clubhouse for the NBA’s Dunk of the Year.”
Well, he quickly topped himself, and this one may not be topped by anybody this NBA season. And if so, I can’t wait to see that dunk.
