Steph and Seth Curry have some athletic parents. Dell Curry may have been the parent who was in the NBA but Sonya, who played basketball in high school, has shown to be able to compete with the pros on the court.
The Curry family is in Charlotte for NBA All-Star weekend and were there to unveil renovations to the Carole Hoefner Center, part of an event hosted by the Stephen and Ayesha Curry Family Foundation. Both brothers are in the NBA Three-Point Contest tomorrow night but given what we’re seeing here, may want to add Sonya to the mix.

Sonya drained a one-hand, underhanded halfcourt shot and celebrated her shot. Backing up what she was saying, Sonya explained she was trash talking her sons beforehand and true to her word, she backed it up.

The day comes for a parent when when they play sports with their kids, they eventually grow up and are better than their parents. As this shows, even if you are one of the best in the NBA, your parents can still show you up on the court.
