The Los Angeles Rams are the Super Bowl LVI champions after some late-game heroics from star wide receiver Cooper Kupp, catching what ended up being the game-winning touchdown from Matthew Stafford.
Extremely fitting with the season he's had that it's Cooper Kupp!

Kupp had a great game with eight catches for 92 yards and two touchdowns, including four big catches in the Rams’ final drive.
After his impressive performance, it was to nobody’s surprise that Kupp was awarded the Super Bowl MVP.

Here are some reactions to Kupp’s game-winning performance that earned him the award:
Cooper Kupp finished his high school football career with zero scholarship offers.
3 weeks later, he finally got one from Eastern Washington.
This year, he led the NFL in receptions, yards and TDs.
Now, he's:

I would give MVP to Cooper Kupp. Two touchdowns, that clutch run. I also would have given him the regular season MVP but that's another thing.

Kupp was asked to step up in a big way in this game after Rams receiver Odell Beckham Jr. suffered a knee injury that took him out of the game in the second quarter.
He’s the first receiver to win the MVP award since Julian Edelman did so in 2019.

Kupp had a tremendous season for the Rams, going for 145 receptions, 1,947 yards, and 16 touchdowns. His historic season was good enough to earn the triple-crown, leading the NFL in all of those stats.
The wide receiver becomes just the second player alongside Jerry Rice to win the triple-crown and be Super Bowl MVP.

Kupp has a truly special story, coming out of FCS school Eastern Washington, and now finds himself as undeniably one of the best receivers in the NFL.
There were some other candidates for MVP like Aaron Donald, who had the game-winning pressure on Joe Burrow to clinch the victory, but you have to feel happy for the kid who came from nothing to truly cement his legacy in the history of the NFL with his performance in this game.
