Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wants you to know that he won’t be like legendary counterpart Tom Brady when it comes to playing football to the ripe old age of 45.
The future Hall of Fame quarterback spoke to a gaggle of press earlier this week and clarified that he plans to retire well before that point.
“I’ll be doing something else. I have a lot of other interests outside the game. The game has been really, really good to me. I feel I have given my all to the game. At some point, it will be time to do something else. And I strongly believe that will be before [I am] forty-five [years old],” Rodgers said.
Aaron Rodgers confirms again that, unlike Tom Brady, he won't be playing until age 45.

The NFL world quickly reacted to the news:
That was very sneaky of Aaron Rodgers to say he won’t be playing until he’s 45. Sneaky. He wants Tom to retire so he can get more rings? What could be more exhilarating than playing at that level ball? He has all offseason to do whatever else he is trying
