The Philadelphia Eagles’ QB sneak play, dubbed the ‘Tush Push,’ has become a significant talking point around the NFL. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has benefitted significantly from it, as he’s scored several touchdowns at the goal line on the play. As the team prepares for a much-anticipated Super Bowl rematch next week, the (familiar) opposition had something to say about it—namely, former Eagles coach Andy Reid.

Reid, who’s coached the Kansas City Chiefs since 2013, has won two Super Bowls with the team. Before arriving in KC, Reid was the longtime coach for the Eagles. So, anything he says will return to the team and the city.

What does Reid think about all the hubbub about the Tush Push?

“I just think they’re good at it,” Reid told reporters via Pro Football Talk. “I think their inside three do a pretty good job with it, and they’ve grown with it over time. That’s what I see.”

The Chiefs coach said the play was a “tough one to practice,” which is true. It’s such a unique play that trying it out in a non-game scenario might not be the wisest. It’s one of those things where you’ll have to hold your nose and take the plunge. Fortunately for Philadelphia, the Eagles have excelled at it and then some.

The Chiefs and the Eagles are set to collide on Monday Night Football next week. The heavyweight Super Bowl LVII rematch will likely draw a massive nationwide audience.
