Brandon Jacobs had a memorable college and pro football career. In 2007 and then 2011, he won the Super Bowl with the New York Giants after being part of the 2004 Auburn squad that went unbeaten. Now, his son is ready to play college football.
Brayden Jacobs, an offensive lineman in the Class of 2025, announced his commitment on Sunday. Jacobs will play college football at Clemson, he announced.

Jacobs is a 6-foot-7, 310-pound offensive tackle. In the 2025 class, the Alpharetta, Georgia, native ranks 174th nationally in 247Sports’ composite recruiting rankings. He also ranks 17th among tackles and is the 24th-ranked player in the talent-rich state of Georgia.
Prior to committing, Jacobs held offers from Alabama State, Boston College, Colorado, and his father’s alma mater Auburn. Instead of being a legacy recruit though, Brayden will carve his own path out at Clemson as of now.
Early on, Clemson’s recruiting class looks great. They currently sit 3rd in the 2025 cycle. The Tigers are hoping to continue to be yearly contenders in the ACC, which will be supersized this coming season after the latest wave of conference realignment.
In his NFL career, Brandon Jacobs ran for 5,094 career yards in 109 career games. He scored 60 rushing touchdowns, including a career-high 15 during the 2008 NFL season.
