Shut it down. Clemson Tigers baseball star Blake Wright has arguably won the entire weekend.
Wright and the Tigers have had an incredible weekend against the Florida State Seminoles. It just seems to be getting better by the minute too.
On Saturday, the Tigers staged an epic comeback victory against the ‘Noles thanks in large part to Wright and his bat. Wright crushed a Grand Slam that helped the Tigers topple Florida State.

Then, on Sunday, another come-from-behind situation presented itself. Once again, Wright stepped to the plate with the bases loaded. And, once again, Wright went lift-off! He blasted yet another Grand Slam to give Clemson the lead over Florida State.

Right now, Wright is unstoppable at the plate, and the Tigers have been playing their tails off this weekend. They’ve shown no quit in them as they’ve rallied feverishly multiple times against Florida State. The ‘Noles can’t seem to buy a sustained lead, and Clemson appears to have their number. Especially Wright, who’s had a monstrous weekend at the dish.
It’s been a huge weekend for Clemson athletics, as the men’s basketball team will play the Baylor Bears with a trip to the Sweet Sixteen on the line.
