NFL world reacts to absolutely brutal Dolphins news

The Miami Dolphins were without two of their critical pieces on Wednesday at practice. Star receiver Tyreek Hill did not practice with the Dolphins due to a hip injury, while running back Raheem Mostert missed practice with an ankle injury.

If that weren’t enough, Mostert was held out with an ankle injury, as Schefter also reported.

The 5-2 Dolphins have been high-flying and fun to watch this season. A lot of that has come from the play of Hill. He’s been Tua Tagovailoa’s favorite target in the open field. Tua and Hill have connected on several touchdown passes already, seven to be precise, which leads the NFL. Hill also leads the league in receiving yards (902) and receiving yards/game (128.9). Mostert, meanwhile, has rushed for 474 yards on 84 carries. He leads the NFL in rushing touchdowns with nine.

So suffice it to say that while the Dolphins hold a lot of weapons on them, losing Hill for any extended period of time would be a huge blow. It’s big news that he didn’t practice with only a few short days remaining until their next game. Miami hosts New England this weekend and hopes to improve to their unbeaten record at home this season. The Dolphins are 3-0 at home, having claimed victories over the Denver Broncos, the New York Giants, and the Carolina Panthers.

The NFL world had plenty to say about the significant update on Tyreek Hill and his status at Dolphins practice. Mostly, fantasy owners were quite dismayed.
