Georgia Bulldogs fans found a reason to be elated on Sunday. The Dawgs took care of business in a big way against the Alabama Crimson Tide on the diamond. Georgia brought the brooms out as they swept the Crimson Tide with an emphatic victory Sunday.

Georgia completed its sweep of SEC rival Alabama with a 10-5 victory. The Bulldogs won 9-5 and 6-5 in a doubleheader held on Saturday after a rainout Friday night.

So, in relatively short order, UGA took care of business against ‘Bama.

“Diamond Dawg Dominance,” the Georgia baseball program boasted in a post on X.

Georgia star Charlie Condon took center stage this weekend. On Saturday, Condon, a highly-touted MLB Draft prospect this year, had a prolific performance at the plate.

Condon socked three home runs en route to victory to push himself to the top of the nation’s home run leaderboard. Condon has shown a boisterous, powerful swing that’s fetched him a lot of attention. It certainly helped him and his Dawgs out this weekend.

Georgia baseball is 20-4 this season, but still have plenty of work to do in a busy SEC. The Bulldogs are now 3-3 in the SEC after starting off 0-3. Kentucky swept Georgia last weekend, so the Bulldogs decided to respond in the best way they could to that split.

The sweep had Georgia baseball fans ecstatic, and they had much to say.
