As the Tennessee Titans finish their season, quarterback Ryan Tannehill may see his time run out, too. The Titans quarterback likely knew the clock was running when the team drafted Will Levis this year. This season’s conclusion is fast approaching, and he is taking everything into perspective.

TennesseeTitans.com wrote, “Heading into Sunday’s season finale, Tannehill knows he could be preparing for his final game in Tennessee. He’d like to go out on a high note. ‘I spent five years of my life here in this organization,’ Tannehill said on Wednesday. ‘A lot of great people. I would love to be able to leave it on a win.'”

Tannehill’s time with the Titans was, admittedly, a successful run for the team. They made a run all the way to the AFC Championship Game following the 2019-20 season. The Titans also had the AFC’s best record the following year. Things dissipated really at the wrong time for everybody involved, and Tennessee had to act. Unfortunately for Tannehill, that meant moving in a new direction.

But at age 35, Tannehill more than likely knows the deal here. He’ll be an interesting quarterback on the market next year as he’s proven to be reliable and has playoff experience. Several QB-needy teams could be in on him, but it’s clear that he wants to end his time in Tennessee without souring.
