Warriors fans can breathe easier today.
According to a report from The Vertical, Steph Curry’s MRI results were negative, and the knee injury he suffered in Sunday’s game is only a Grade 1 MCL Sprain.
Vertical Sources: Steph Curry's MRI on knee has returned negative, no damage, a Grade 1 sprain. Could miss two weeks.

The two-week timetable is a little worrisome, but the Warriors have proven capable of beating the Houston Rockets with or without Curry. As long as the Warriors can handle their business in the first round, Curry will have a shot at coming back in time for the conference semifinals.
Still, under the two week timetable, Golden State will probably be without Curry for at least the first two games of the next round. It is also worth noting the two weeks is only the timeline for reevaluation. There is no guarantee Curry will be ready to go by then.
Warriors say they will re-evaluate Steph Curry in two weeks. Doesn't mean he's automatically back in two weeks.

This news opens the door for either the Los Angeles Clippers or Portland Trailblazers to pull off a major upset in the second round. The Clippers in particular were already some pundits’ dark horses to spoil the Warriors’ record-setting season. Curry missing multiple games in the series can only increase the chances of an upset happening.
It is also worth noting the time off might lead to a rustier Curry than most are used to.
Worth noting: Curry was 1-7 on 3s after missing 2 games. How would he be after missing 2+ weeks?

Golden State avoided disaster, but that does not mean they are out of the woods yet.
The Curry-less Warriors will look to close out Houston in Game 5 Wednesday night on TNT.
