LSU Tigers women’s basketball star Angel Reese in the news, as the National Champion hooper will be featured in a new commercial soon with two NBA stars.

Reese reportedly signed on with Starry and will appear in a commercial with former No. 1 overall picks Karl-Anthony Towns and Zion Williamson. On3 Recruits posted the story on Thursday afternoon.

“Angel Reese is now using her ‘you can’t see me’ gesture in commercials, thanks to name, image, and likeness. The LSU women’s basketball star and social media influencer launched a new NIL partnership Thursday, promoting the soft drink Starry next to NBA players Karl-Anthony Towns and Zion Williamson,” On3 wrote.

Reese is just the latest college sports star to enter the realm of being a commercial star. Previously, fellow LSU athlete Livvy Dunne and former Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball star Johnny Davis have been featured in commercials for Vuori Performance Apparel and Taco Bell.

This is truly a different world we’re living in now, with college athletes being able to profit off their names, images, and likenesses. Despite persistent opposition, the function to let student-athletes make money has only led to more opportunities for them to make money.

Angel Reese is building up a significant rapport for herself. According to On3, the LSU star’s NIL Valuation is at $1.4 million, the most of any women’s college basketball player.
