Caitlin Clark just sent the college basketball world into a frenzy.

The superstar Iowa Hawkeyes guard drilled a buzzer-beater that pushed her and her Hawkeyes over the second-ranked Indiana Hoosiers.

Down 85-83 with 1.5 seconds remaining, Iowa had the chance to either tie or win the game if they hit a three-pointer. Clark, absolutely no stranger to the moment or to meeting that moment, stepped up and hit a turnaround 3-pointer to bury the Hoosiers at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Clark finished the game with 34 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. So in addition to her buzzer-beater, she came one rebound and one assist away from a triple-double.

ESPN reporter Holly Rowe spoke with Clark after the game’s epic conclusion. She asked the superstar what she thought when she put it up in the air. Clark’s answer?

“Honestly, I thought it was money.” Doesn’t get any more cool, calm, and collected than that.

Caitlin Clark and her sensational shot immediately garnered attention from everywhere.

Some, like Mark Schindler, exclaimed in celebration in all caps.

Her own team’s Twitter account reacted in disbelief.

Mookie Alexander considered it a “legendary weekend” for Iowa hoops. The Hawkeyes men’s team stunned Michigan State on Saturday with an absolutely epic comeback victory in overtime. So, they have a point!

And Andrew Hammond gave Clark “Icon status.” Hard to argue at this point.
