North Dakota State’s men’s college basketball team hosted Oak Hills Christian College, a small school from Bemidji, MN on Sunday, Dec. 10. The Bison won, sneaking by the visiting Wolfpack with a 108-14 victory.
To answer your first question, no that final score is not a typo. North Dakota State beat Oak Hills by 94 points. With that out of the way, we’re guessing a lot of you have a follow-up question, something like, “How in the heck can a college basketball team lose a game that badly?”
It’s a fair question. But we think Oak Hills Christian’s highlight reel will go a long way toward answering the question.

In fact, if seeing that “highlight” reel makes you wonder how the Wolfpack managed to score 14 points to keep the game within 94 points, we wouldn’t blame you.
The highlight reel naturally drew a lot of commentary. A lot of fans were wondering how this is a college team or if they might be eligible for college basketball. Others issued less than favorable comparisons.

NDSU really should be ashamed of itself for scheduling this game. https://t.co/6t5CLOQsTB

Have we confirmed Oak Hills is a real school?
This is the closest thing I’ve seen to Bishop Sycamore since Bishop Sycamore https://t.co/hdWEKRFd9B

It’s also fair to wonder how the rest of Oak Hills Christian’s season has gone. That’s the worst loss, but there have been other decisive ones. But perhaps just as interesting, the Wolfpack have two wins on the year. In fact, in the game immediately before the showdown against the Bison, Oaks Hills not only won, but scored 90 points against Sisseton Wahpeton College.
