On Sunday afternoon, Ohio State Buckeyes fans were hit with some pretty scary news when it was reported that offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Brian Hartline had been taken to the hospital with injuries from his involvement in a vehicle crash early Sunday morning.
According to a report from NBC4 in Columbus, Ohio, Brian Hartline was driving his UTV side-by-side vehicle on his property on early Sunday morning when he was involved in a crash and sent to Riverside Memorial Hospital.
“A Delaware County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson confirmed the crash happened at approximately 1:20 a.m. Sunday on Hartline’s property near Powell,” Daniel Griffin of NBC4 wrote on Sunday afternoon. “The spokesperson also confirmed Hartline was the driver of the UTV side-by-side involved in the crash.”
The news understandably led to quite a bit of concern throughout the college football world on Sunday afternoon.

Shortly after the news broke, Hartline himself took to social media to give an update on his condition, saying that he’s “doing well.”
“I appreciate everyones support. I crashed my side by side on my property and have been taken to the hospital for further evaluation. I am doing well,” Hartline said.
It was certainly a scary situation, but it’s good to see he’s doing better.
