The LSU Tigers are coming off of their most dominant win of the season when they blasted the previously unbeaten Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday afternoon in a totally lopsided win. But despite the big win, the team won’t have all that much time to celebrate as they now face the Alabama Crimson Tide in an even bigger game this weekend.
Ahead of Saturday afternoon’s matchup, LSU head coach Brian Kelly had some high praise for Alabama star quarterback Bryce Young, taking special note of his unique playmaking ability.
“They’ve all been so difficult to defend and this will be the most difficult,” Kelly said during a press conference on Thursday. “I think what’s most difficult with [Young] is improvising. His ability to improvise, and as he improvises, he’s making plays. He’s getting the ball out to skill players. An enormous, I think, challenge, for our defense to contain him in some fashion. Maybe you have to look at how do you slow him down a little bit, because he just is that good of a player.”
With Young’s playmaking ability, the Tigers will have their work cut out for them on Saturday if they’re going to take down a top-10 opponent for the second-straight week.
