Clemson Clemson

It hasn’t been a great year for the Clemson Tigers as the team is off to their worst start since the 2010 season, but it sounds like star quarterback Cade Klubnik is planning to stick with the program despite the frustrating year.

This week, Cade Klubnik was asked whether or not he had considered entering the transfer portal following this season, but he seemed to shoot down that idea pretty quickly.

“I’m not going anywhere. I’m sticking to this place,” Klubnik said according to On3. “I trust everybody here and I trust coach Swinney. Earlier on in his career he had some ups and downs, but look at what he did after that. We’re just going to create momentum and just continue to put our head down and work.”

Klubnik made it clear that even though this season has been quite a struggle for Clemson, he still believes in this program and head coach Dabo Swinney.

“This is a winning program, at the end of the day. So when we have a record like we have, nobody’s used to it,” Klubnik said. “So it’s learning how to handle that. I would much rather be at a winning program than a losing program.”

He’s made it plans very clear, and the CFB world had a lot to say about it on social media.

We’ll have to see if he can help lead the team back to dominance next season.
