When Deion Sanders was named the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, most expected that he would provide a significant boost to the team’s recruiting. And just before the start of the early signing period for the 2024 high school recruiting class, it looks like he’s doing just that.

On Thursday morning, five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton announced his commitment to the Colorado Buffaloes, giving Deion Sanders the top-ranked offensive tackle prospect in the country. And based on the way Seaton talked about Sanders, it sounds like Coach Prime is the main reason why he chose to commit to Colorado.

“My favorite thing about that program is probably the head coach,” Seaton told 247Sports in the past, according to recruiting insider Steve Wiltfong. “He’s a gold jacket. He knows what it looks like. As you can see with Shedeur (Sanders) he knows how to get you to the league.”

Obviously, this is pretty insane news for Sander and Colorado, especially after the team lost a few key commitments over the past several weeks, and the college football world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.

We’ll have to see how Seaton fares during his time at Colorado.
