Former United States President Donald Trump made a public appearance at this weekend’s college football rivalry showdown between the Clemson Tigers and the South Carolina Gamecocks. But when he was introduced on the field during halftime, he didn’t exactly get a warm welcome – particularly from the Clemson band.

As Donald Trump made his way onto the field to be recognized during halftime of the Palmetto Bowl between South Carolina and Clemson, the former president was met with a barrage of boos – many of which came from the Clemson marching band.

In a video posted by Olivia Rinaldi of CBS News, members of the Clemson marching band could be heard loudly booing the former president with many members of the band even giving him a thumbs-down gesture as he waved to the crowd on the field.

One member of the band could even be heard yelling “have fun in prison!” to the former president, in reference to the 91 felony counts he is currently facing as a result of his alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 election.

Trump may have won South Carolina in the 2020 presidential election, but it’s clear that he still has quite a few haters in the state, and they weren’t happy to see him on Saturday.
