ESPN’s College GameDay has announced their next stop during the 2022 college football season and it’s Bozeman, Montana, home of Montana State.

Everyone knows that the two weeks at the end of the season are normally rivalry games and one of those games is the Montana Grizzles vs the Montana State Bobcats.

This will be the first time that College GameDay will be in Montana for the “Brawl of the Wild.” College GameDay has tried to be more diverse over the years, such as their recent trip to Jackson, Mississippi for a SWAC game, a previous trip to see North Dakota vs North Dakota State, and now to Montana for a Big Sky contest.

Last year, the Big Sky Conference and Montana lobbied hard for Game Day to come there, but they choose Ohio State vs Michigan State.

Now, GameDay hasn’t announced who their guest picker would be, but the odds-on favorite should be Montana State alum and former SportsCenter co-host Craig Kilborn.

Kilborn hosted SportsCenter from 1993-196 before moving on to become the original host of The Daily Show and then The Late, Late Show.

College football fans’ reactions, especially from the two rival schools involved, varied. Neither side can’t seem to agree on who should have hosted the gameday first.

If the fan excitement is any indication, this is going to be one heck of a game next week.
