Lee Corso will return to the “College GameDay” set Saturday.

Corso will be on hand when the crew heads to Knoxville to watch the Alabama Crimson Tide face the Tennessee Volunteers in what should be an electric SEC game. Corso, 87, missed the last two weeks due to an unspecified illness.

ESPN’s public relations department announced Corso’s return Friday:

“It’s great to have Coach Lee Corso back with the College GameDay crew this weekend in Knoxville from Friday morning’s production meeting, gearing up for show prep with coordinating producer Drew Gallagher,” ESPN’s tweet read.

“Same vibes,” Eric Goodman said with a GIF of a scene from HBO’s House of Dragons.

“So good to see Coach back,” tweeted Kevin Negandh.

“The King has returned,” Michael McCarthy wrote.

“College football fans everywhere are happy to see this,” said one fan.

“Nice to see Coach Corso back at it. We’ve missed ya Sunshine Scooter,” Stephanie Blackwell wrote.

Corso suffered a stroke in 2009, and ESPN found ways to accommodate his health needs throughout the rigorous traveling schedule of the program.

Corso joined the “GameDay” set in its inception in 1987, and he has been traveling with the crew from coast to coast for college football games since the program went on the road in 1993.
