Jordan Kitna, the son of former NFL quarterback Jon Kitna, agreed to a plea deal after he received five felony charges regarding child porn. The former Florida Gators quarterback is serving a ban from the UF campus after Florida dismissed him from the team last November following his arrest.

Kitna accepted a plea deal that removed the five charges and did not require him to register as a sex offender in Florida. Instead, the judge served the former Gator QB a six-month probation sentence for each felony count.

The Associated Press wrote, “Ex-Florida quarterback Jalen Kitna, the son of retired NFL quarterback Jon Kitna, accepted a plea deal Wednesday that dismissed five felony child pornography charges stemming from his arrest last November. Kitna instead pleaded guilty to two counts of disorderly conduct, second-degree misdemeanors.”

According to the AP, Kitna read a statement following his plea deal acceptance.

Police arrested Kitna in November 2022 on federal child pornography charges that included possession and distribution. Two counts went to “distribution of child exploitation material” and three went to “possession of child pornography” according to the AP. At the time, he was on the Florida Gators football team. But shortly after his arrest, UF dismissed him from the team, and is serving a multi-year ban from the campus until November 2025.
