This season, Kyle McCord was the starting quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes where he helped lead the team to an 11-1 record. But it looks like there’s a chance he could be starting for a different Big Ten program next season.
According to a report from college football insider Pete Nakos of On3, Kyle McCord will be making a visit to Nebraska this coming weekend after entering the transfer portal on Monday.

McCord had a strong season with the Buckeyes during his first full season as a starter, completing 66.5 percent of his passes for 3,170 yards, 24 touchdowns and six interceptions.
Though he did have solid numbers this season, he chose to transfer from Ohio State after he did not receive assurance that he would remain the team’s starting quarterback next season.
McCord was a five-star quarterback coming out of high school, rated as the No. 6 quarterback and the No. 28 overall player in the 2021 high school recruiting class.
