After South Carolina upset Kentucky this past Saturday, Gamecocks head coach Shane Beamer threw a little shade at Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops about some comments he made during SEC Media Days back in July.

It seems as if Stoops made comments about teams and coaches celebrating with “sunglasses and stupid dancing,” which Beamer took as a shot at his team and their celebrations.

“It’s easy to change a climate,” Stoops said at the time. “You can change a uniform, talk a little game, dance around, put on some stupid sunglasses. But to change a culture is at the core and I’m quite certain that we’ve changed our culture.”

Well, Beamer wanted Stoops to know what he thought of those comments after their 24-14 victory Saturday.

“Make sure we’re classy in our postgame with the media,” Beamer told his team. “At SEC Media Days, he talked about stupid sunglasses and dancing.”

After that, Beamer put on sunglasses and started dancing to Soulja Boy’s “Turn My Swag On.”

After starting the season undefeated, the Wildcats have lost two straight, to Ole Miss last week and now South Carolina, pretty much killing their chances of winning the SEC East this year.

Both teams now have 4-2 records and this was also South Carolina’s first SEC win of the year. So it looks like there might be more sunglasses and dances in their future.
