Tuesday was a very eventful day for Alex Rodriguez.

It was reported Tuesday morning that Rodriguez will join the Sunday Night Baseball booth as a color commentator for ESPN, while also keeping his studio analyst job with FOX for the MLB postseason. And on Tuesday night, Rodriguez appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, rocking a turtleneck that would make Danny Kanell and The Rock proud.

The interview began with Fallon congratulating Rodriguez on the Sunday Night Baseball job, and Rodriguez spoke about how excited he is for the opportunity.

A-Rod also lost a hitting contest to dinger-mashing toddler Asher Willig.
