The NFL season is almost upon us, which means that the alternate cast of Monday Night Football, ManningCast, with Peyton and Eli Manning will shortly be beginning. But it seems like things will be changing as the duo prepares for the third season of their alternate broadcast.

ManningCast, which started in 2021, has traditionally been the duo of Peyton and Eli Manning, with guests joining them each quarter to discuss various topics while watching whatever Monday Night Football game is on that week.

However, Peyton Manning teased on social media that their traditional setup will be changing this coming season. He posted a picture on Instagram with a binder that had the words “Third Host Auditions” on it with the caption “Trying something new for the ManningCast this year”.

No name has been released of who they potentially have in mind to be a third host. But fans are beginning to speculate who could be a good fit besides Peyton and Eli.

A possibility that comes to mind that some fans have brought up is former Indianapolis Colts punter and current media personality Pat McAfee. McAfee notably has experience with Peyton Manning, playing with him for two years in Indianapolis. And McAfee’s show, The Pat McAfee Show is notably moving to ESPN programming in just a couple of days.

Whoever the third host ends up being, there should be plenty of more iconic moments on the ManningCast for the upcoming 2023 season.
