Shannon Sharpe

Former Fox Sports personality Shannon Sharpe officially left Fox back in June, and many were curious about where we would see him next. We now know what is in store for him, and it involves ESPN and Stephen A. Smith.

Battling popular sports debate shows First Take and Undisputed were each looking for co-hosts alongside Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless respectively. It was recently announced that Richard Sherman would be Bayless’s main debate adversary. And we now know that it will be Shannon Sharpe who is alongside Stephen A. Smith.

According to a report from The New York Post, Sharpe will be joining Smith on First Take, where he will be debating Smith on Mondays and Tuesdays during football season.

Fans have been speculating that this could be a possibility ever since Sharpe had his final show of Undisputed back on June 13th. And it is safe to say that fans are extremely excited that the pairing has been officially announced.

You would be hard-pressed to find two bolder personalities in sports media than Sharpe and Smith. At the very least, these two will certainly create some memorable moments that the sports world will be talking about for quite some time…
