Former NFL All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman parlayed his success in football into an analyst job with Amazon for their first season of Thursday Night Football. He will continue that role for the upcoming 2023-24 season, but will also be taking another huge position moving forward.

Sherman has always been known to be charismatic with plenty to say. Even in his playing days, his trash talk was nearly as good as his performance on the field.

His personality will certainly help him in his new role, as Andrew Marchand of The New York Post reported on Monday that Sherman will be joining the popular Fox Sports 1 show Undisputed alongside Skip Bayless. He added that Sherman will be on “50-100 times per year” to debate Bayless primary during football season.

He will be filling the void of Shannon Sharpe after his departure from the show. Fans certainly took notice of this news, largely saying that Sherman has the perfect personality to rival Bayless.

For those who may think this is a bit of an odd choice, these two do have a very interesting past. Sherman notably went on an epic rant towards Bayless back in 2013 when he was a co-host of ESPN’s First Take, where he proclaimed he was “better at life” than Bayless.

If this old rant is any sign of things to come between these two on the show, fans should certainly be in for plenty of heated debates in the future.
