A bear became the center of attention on the Internet this week. Unfortunately, so did someone’s golf bag, because the bear destroyed somebody’s bag and dragged it to the woods!

Twitter user Rob Johnston, @Robbie_J, posted the original video in reply to a ‘funny tweets’ request. “Buddy of mine did get his golf bag stolen by a bear the other day,” Johnston posted.

The golfer could be heard shouting, “Hey! Hey!” at the bear, who grabbed the golf bag by his teeth. The bear dragged the bag away, pulled it down a hill, and appeared to go into the woods with it.
The clubs were dragged along on the ground while the bear pulled them away. The golfer attempted to find the bear, who they could see tossing the bag around in the plants. But, ultimately, attempts at recovering the bag appeared to prove futile.
Let this be a word of caution to avid golfers. Be sure to have full attention on your belongings, but never actually chase after a bear if they grab them.
