Donald Trump

Donald Trump did three of his favorite things Thursday morning, play golf, mock President Joe Biden and support the Saudi-backed LIV Tour.

The former president of the United States played alongside Brooks Koepka during the LIV Pro-Am at Trump National Doral Miami. Wearing his controversial red MAGA hat, Trump teed off his round by ripping a drive down the fairway (unconfirmed) before he turned to the crowd and proceeded to tee off on Biden by ripping the current president’s athleticism.

“Do you think Biden could do that?” Trump asked the crowd as seen in the clip filmed by WPBF 25 News reporter Yianni Kourakis. “I don’t think so. I don’t think so.”

Cheers of “nice ball” could be heard after the drive before the crowd continued to stroke Trump’s ego by laughing at his well-timed one-liner. Trump is widely considered to be a better golfer than Biden, but the current president has reportedly spent a fraction of his time in office on the golf course as compared to his predecessor. But considering their shared love of golf, paired with Trump’s tendency to mock Biden’s physical acumen, the wheels should be spinning for executives of The Match.

Thursday’s Pro-Am started the LIV Golf 2022 season finale at Trump National Doral. Later in the round, Trump was asked about the highly controversial Saudi-backed golf league.

“Very good. It’s doing great,” said Trump. “Unlimited money.”

The “unlimited money” has also been referred to as “blood money” considering the deplorable human rights record of the Saudi government which uses its Public Investment Fund to finance LIV. Despite the criticism, LIV has been able to use its unlimited money to attract a cast of elite golfers willing to help sportswash the Saudi royal family of its violations.
