People love his backswing. It’s great. Huge. Beautiful. Great path towards the ball. It’s perfect. That’s what people say. That’s why Donald Trump thinks he could be on the PGA Tour.
Naturally, while campaigning for President, Donald Trump said something crazy that set Twitter on fire. Well, this time it had to deal with Trump’s apparently-incredible athletic ability.
On Wednesday, Trump taped his episode on the Dr. Oz show that is slated to air Thursday. While talking about Hillary Clinton’s pneumonia, Trump felt the need to tell Dr. Oz, the audience, and eventually the world, how good he is at golf.
Multiple audience members told CNN that Trump said he does not exercise. But one of them — Kelly Platt, a pharmacist intern who said she is a Trump supporter — said Trump told Oz that he is so good at golf he could join the PGA Tour.
This guy claims he is good enough for the PGA Tour.
Now Trump is actually known for being a good golfer, and he does spend a lot of time golfing. After all, he does own multiple world-renowned golf courses. But good enough to play on the PGA Tour? That may be a stretch.
For one, he’s 70-years-old. Two, he’ll have to walk the entire course. Three, he would have to stop campaigning to practice and qualify.
Those are just a few of the basic hurdles Trump would have to jump over to qualify for the Tour. The list could go on and on, but instead, here are some other ridiculous things Trump said during his appearance on the Dr. Oz show.
From Dr. Oz taping: Trump said his campaigning was his exercise. That him "moving his hands around when he was speaking" was a work out.
