A scary moment just occurred at the Masters that shocked the golf world. A tree both abruptly and frighteningly fell by the 15th hole at Augusta National.

Video, provided by Jace Frederick of the Pioneer Press, shows the horrifying moment when the large tree crashed down. Spectators could be seen running away from the tree’s descent to the ground.

Other spectators could only watch on in fear. As one observer pointed out, it was about a 100-foot pine tree that fell down.

ESPN anchor Scott Van Pelt reported that there were no injuries after the tree fell.

As time went on, some more trees also dropped on the course.

The video of the scary tree fall went viral and spawned reactions from everyone.

“NO GODS, NO MASTERS, TREES BE FREE,” PodKATT, formerly of SB Nation posted.

“I’m not sure I can remember seeing a tree falling in live coverage of the Masters in all the years of watching this tournament,” one fan tweeted.

“It’s wild that a tree this big, on this course, that’s been standing there unbothered for many decades jut decided it couldn’t take any more on a Friday during the Masters,” Dillon Cheverere tweeted.

“Me if I’m within 100 feet of that falling tree at the Masters,” Bunkie Perkins joked with a picture of the late great wrestling manager, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, sporting a neckbrace.
