The Los Angeles Dodgers were hosting the Atlanta Braves Friday night, and were able to come away with a 4-2 victory in front of the home crowd.
While that might have seemed like a normal occurrence because of how bad the Braves are this year, there was something pretty unique that happened during a Tyler Flowers at bat. Flowers hit a ball foul, that rolled up the third base line. The ball girl retrieved it, and tried to toss it to a young Dodgers fan, but for some reason, she walked over, and placed it on the barrier between the stands and the field.
As it turns out, the kid was eating a hot dog, and refused to put it down.
Dodger games are pleasant to be at, especially during this time of year. The Dodger Dogs are really delicious too, but it’s the dream of most kids to get a ball at a major league game.
I guess that tells you how good those hot dogs really are, if he didn’t want to turn down a Dodger Dog in favor of his hot dog. In the video, it appears he got his hot dog and foul ball so the kid really seemed to be the big winner of the night.
