Dylan Bundy vomiting against the Yankees.

There have been quite a few cases of a professional sports athlete vomiting on the field, including Donovan McNabb, David Beckham, and Lionel Messi. The most recent comes from Los Angeles Angels pitcher Dylan Bundy Monday night, in the bottom of the second inning in a road game against the New York Yankees, with DJ LeMahieu at the plate:

Bundy was understandably removed after that, and replaced by Jose Suarez. As noted on the broadcast, New York is facing a fair amount of heat at the moment, with temperatures of 88 degrees Fahrenheit as of 8:20 p.m. Eastern, so that may have played a factor in this. But it’s certainly an unfortunate moment for Bundy, and one that’s now going to be remembered for a long while.
