It was announced in March that the Arizona Diamondbacks would become the first team since 1995 to use the bullpen cart, which serves as an option for pitchers to go from the bullpen to the infield at Chase Field.
On Saturday night, the Houston Astros’ Collin McHugh became the first pitcher to put the relaxing option to use in a regular season game.
Here it is, the Diamondbacks’ bullpen cart in all its glory:

McHugh threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings after getting the ride, so the bullpen cart will surely get his endorsement.
